Purelines cares deeply about your privacy. We therefore only process data we need for (improving) our services and treat the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the Purelines website and the services accessed on it. The effective date for the validity of these terms and conditions is 24/04/2021, with the publication of a new version, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by us, what this information is used for, and with whom and under what conditions, if any, this information may be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data from misuse and what rights you have with respect to the personal data you provide to us.

Webshop software

WooCommerce

Our webshop is developed with software from WooCommerce. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. WooCommerce has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. WooCommerce is obliged to take appropriate security measures under the agreement we have with them. These security measures include the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. WooCommerce uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. WooCommerce reserves the right to share collected data within its own group to further improve services.

Our webshop was developed with software from WooCommerce, we chose Antagonist for our web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Antagonist has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Antagonist is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures include the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss.

Our webshop is developed with software from WooCommerce, we host our webshop on a server that we manage ourselves. We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of data as much as possible. These security measures include at least the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss.

Web hosting

Antagonist

We purchase web hosting and email services from Antagonist. Antagonist processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Antagonist has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Antagonist is obliged to maintain confidentiality under the confidentiality agreement.

Email and mailing lists

Mailpoet

Our website uses Mailpoet, a third party that handles email traffic from our website and the sending of any newsletters. All confirmation emails you receive from our website and web forms are sent through Mailpoet’s servers. Mailpoet will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click here you will no longer receive emails from our website. This may seriously reduce the functionality of our website! Your personal data is stored securely by Mailpoet. Mailpoet uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. Mailpoet reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties in this context.

We use the services of Mailpoet for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Mailpoet does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment processors

Mollie

We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymised) data with third parties in this context. All the above-mentioned guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which it uses third parties. Mollie will not store your data for longer than is permitted by law.

Klarna

We use the Klarna platform to process (part of) the payments in our webshop. Klarna processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share (anonymised) data with third parties in this context. In the event of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), Klarna will share personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies. All of the above-mentioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Klarna’s services for which it uses third parties. Klarna will not store your data for longer than is permitted by law.

Reviews

WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. In the event that PostNL uses subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose it is necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence details with DHL. DHL uses this information solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that DHL uses subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to these parties.

DPD

When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DPD to carry out deliveries. Invoicing and accounting

Exact Online

We use the services of Exact Online to maintain our administration and accounting. We share your name, address and residence details and details regarding your order. This data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored securely. Exact Online is obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. Exact Online does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of the processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will explicitly ask you for permission to do so. Retention periods

We store your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also regard this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in response to your order.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can invoke these rights. In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send transcripts and copies of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at a different e-mail address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of processed requests; in the case of a request to be forgotten, we administer anonymized data. You will receive all transcripts and copies of data in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at any time if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

You always have the right to limit the data that we (have) process that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You may make a request to this effect to our privacy contact. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to portability

You always have the right to have the data that we (have) process and that relate to your person or can be traced back to you, performed by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our privacy contact person. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties to the e-mail address known to us. In all likelihood, in such a case we will no longer be able to continue providing the service, because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights

In applicable cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Purelines. If you object, we will immediately stop processing the data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will make copies of the data that we process (or have processed) available to you and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. Cookies

Google Analytics

Cookies from the American company Google are placed via our website as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

We use Google AdWords remarketing to advertise for My Hello Bath on the Internet, in particular on the Google Display Network.

AdWords remarketing shows you ads based on which parts of the My Hello Bath website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your web browser.
